mother, photographer, loverHi, I’m Renée. First and foremost, I am mother to two beautiful wildlings; my greatest teachers. They are the very reason why I started Renée Leah Photography.
After my children were born, I realised two things:
Life is too short and too magical not to capture the beauty around us.
Nothing is more important than right now.
My passion, and now my profession, is to capture and create moments for women in all stages of life.
From pregnancy to birth, motherhood, entrepreneurship, empowerment and liberation, every amazing element of womanhood should be embraced and celebrated.
To me, photography isn’t just about taking beautiful photos. It’s about creating a ‘pause’ in your life to reflect on, and be in, its magic. So many of the most special moments in life are taken for granted - the little curls in your daughter’s hair, a dimple in your son’s cheek, your body creating life from love. It is a privilege for me to capture these moments as the beautiful memories they deserve to be…Appreciated and remembered forever.

I love love
Capturing honest connection between couples and families is my passion and purpose in life. I’ve been known to shed a sneaky tear during shoots (from behind the camera of course!)
I love nature
I’m so lucky to live on acreage in Port Macquarie where my kids can run free and be in nature! It also gives the best earthy background colours and textures for shoots.
I’m an advocate
I’m an advocate for women’s empowerment and have started a package called ‘I am Woman’ to support women in finding their inner-strength and to celebrate beauty, self-love and self-worth.
My Process
Behind the magic Photography is deeply personal, especially when capturing the most intimate of life’s moments. I pride myself on building a trusting relationship with my clients, and making you feel like your most authentic, empowered, comfortable self.
Remember - this session is about celebrating you, your family, your love, your story.
Here’s what to expect behind the scenes.
Booking & briefing
We’ll have an initial phone call to get to know each other and discuss your vision for the session, including the style, locations and dates. Then, a $50 deposit is paid to secure your date. You will also receive more information on the details of the photoshoot, as well as some wardrobe options you’re welcome to borrow.
One week before the session, the remainder of the invoice will be due, and I will contact you to check in and confirm the details.

On the day
On the day, we’ll meet and have fun creating magic. All I ask is that you enjoy and embrace the process of making some amazing memories. I will provide you with all the direction you need, and a safe, nurturing space for you to feel comfortable and empowered.
After the session
48 hours after our session, I will send you a selection of sneak peeks of your beautiful moments, and a few days later I’ll provide you with a link to view the full gallery of images, where you can select your favourites depending on your package.
Around two to three weeks later, the full gallery of your chosen images will be delivered to you.
